What is the difference between STM and LTM?
Short-term memory refers to the information processed by the individual in a short period of time.
Long-term memory allows us to store information for long periods of time.
Working memory performs this processing. Short-term memory, for psychologists, means the things that are in your mind right now, and only those things. On the other hand, long-term memory is anything you store to be retrieved at a later time.
