‘Numbered heads’ is a cooperative learning activity consisting of four steps. Students number off (in this case from 1 to 4). The teacher announces the task and time limit. Students put their heads together, do the activity, and ensure the whole group completes the task.
The advantage of Numbered Head Together is Numbered heads together can encourage positive interdependence because the members become intellectually and socially active to participate and contribute to arriving at the correct answer.
